STONE MANGANESE MARINE LIMITED was formed in 1963 with the merger of three major propeller companies located in the U. K., combining the specialist knowledge and experience in the design and manufacture of propellers that had been developed since propellers became a practical means to ship propulsion.

Since the formation of the company, SMM has further evolved its world famous MERIDIAN design methodology and developed the technology of propeller manufacture and repair.

Our principal activity is the design and supply of fixed pitch marine propellers to a worldwide customer base.
